passed in her sleep
a poem
srry ik its been a while since I posted poetry here y’all go:
Operatic motherfucker new and old
Black-green peaks shrouded in azure fog’s touch
Sliding forth, the dawn pressing broad kisses to the blue-grey world
Birdsong sprouting and bouncing like jazz from fir to oak brush
Like the slow touch of a wavering fire to tissue paper
The clouds redden and whisper away towards bluer skies
Night’s chilly grasp seductively trails away without anger
And the darkness morphs into a flutter of forgotten lies
Shadows reach further but weaker hiding from stabbing light
As this stretch of the world languorously wakes from slumber
Some eyes remain shut, ignoring the new bright
Dead and irrevivable like broken timber
And the planet, unshaken by pouring keening like an ocean
Pretends she has all awoken

I love INFP poetry, this is a metaphor for so many things in my life. There's so much to be thankful for in a new dawn but many can't see the light.
Oh man, I love this very much ❤️🔥
